Objective To investigate the application value of predictive nursing intervention in the reduction of common complications and adverse reactions in children with vascular malformations(VMs)underwent interventional therapy,and to explore anxiety emptionn and satisfaction of childre and their families.Methods A total of 936 VMs children underwent interventional therapy who received in Hebei Children's Hospital from 2019 to 2022 were enrolled.They were randomly assigned to receive either routine care until discharge(control group,n=468)or routine care+predictive nursing intervention(observation group,n=468).The aim was to compare the incidence of adverse reactions including fever,diarrhea,crying and irritability,pain,vomiting,the incidence of complications including infection,skin erosion,local tissue injury,puncture site bleeding after injection of vascular embolization agent and sclerosing agent,the questionnaire results for anxiety and satisfaction.Results The incidence of adverse reactions and complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The anxiety of children and their families in the observation group was significantly improved,and the questionnaire results showed the satisfaction of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention in VMs children with interventional therapy can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and complications,relieve the anxiety of children and their families,significantly increase satisfaction,and improve efficacy.
