Due to the changes of the physiological structure of the digestive system,metabolism,endocrine and other functions of the patients with esophageal cancer(EC),sleep disorders commonly occur in EC patients.However,because most patients ignore their own problems,the impact of sleep disorders on patients themselves gradually deepens,seriously affecting the physical and mental health and quality of life of patients.This article reviews the current status of sleep disorders in EC patients,the factors that affect their occurrence,intervention measures,issues,and prospects,with a view to providing evidence for further improvement of sleep disorders in EC patients,and providing research ideas for future clinical trials.
