Objective To analyze the influencing factors for acceptance of disability(AD)of ischemic stroke(IS)patients. Methods A total of 696 IS patients hospitalized in the Department of Neurology, the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2021 to October 2022 were enrolled. The General Information Questionnaire,Acceptance of Disability Scale(ADS),self-management ability questionnaire(SMAQ),Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)were performed to survey. Results The score of ADS in the IS patients was 65.63±11.30 points.Multiple linear regression results showed that education level, economic level and knowledge of the disease were the main factors affecting AD in IS patients(P<0.05).AD was positively correlated with self-management ability(r=0.557,P<0.01)and social support(r=0.363,P<0.05),and negatively correlated with anxiety(r=-0.665,P<0.01).Conclusion AD in IS patients is relatively lower, which is positively correlated with self-management ability and social support, and negatively correlated with anxiety.Medical staff should pay attention and provide timely psychological intervention. It contributes to the improvement of AD,thereby improving their physical and mental health.
