Effect of Xinbao Pill on ventricular remodeling,vascular endothelial function and oxidative stress in patients with chronic heart failure
Objective To analyze and understand the effects of Xinbao Pill on ventricular remodeling,vascular endothelial function,and oxidative stress in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF),thus providing relevant references for the patients.Methods Ninety-six CHF patients admitted to Shijiazhuang First Center from January 2020 to December 2021 were enrolled as the research subjects,they were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to conventional treatment(control group)or Xinbao Pills+conventional treatment(observation group).The inter-group ventricular remodeling indicators,vascular endothelial function,oxidative stress indicators,and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment were assessed.Results After treatment,the levels of propylene glycol(PG),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),endothelin 1(ET-1),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVDs),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVDd),left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV),and left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)in control group were significantly lower than those before treatment,but the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CTA),calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),NOVE/VA,and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were significantly higher than before treatment(all P<0.05).There were statistically significant difference in PG,MMP-9,ET-1,LVDs,LVDd,LVEDV,and LVESV,as well as SOD,CTA,CGRP,NOVE/VA,and LVEF between groups(all P<0.05).Conclusion Xinbao Pill can inhibit the occurrence of ventricular remodeling,improve the vascular endothelial function and oxidative stress status in CHF patients.
