Application of cognitive behavioral intervention combined with music relaxation therapy to patients examined by magnetic resonance imaging enhanced scanning
Objective To analyze the application effect of cognitive behavioral intervention combined with music relaxation therapy on patients undergoing magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)enhanced scanning. Methods A total of 82 patients who underwent contrast-enhanced MRI from May 2021 to April 2023 were included in the study. They were randomly assigned into the observation group(41 cases treated with cognitive behavioral intervention combined with music relaxation therapy)and control group(41 cases treated with routine respiratory and nursing intervention). The respiration rate, heart rate, blood pressure, anxiety degree, duration of MRI,adverse events and image quality of the two groups before and after examination were observed. Results There were no significant differences in the respiratory rate, heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressures in the observation group before and after the examination(P>0.05).After the examination, respiration rate, heart rate, systolic blood pressure, and diastolic blood pressure in the control group were significantly higher than those before the examination(P<0.05).The above indicators in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after the examination(P<0.05).Significantly shorter duration of MRI,lower incidence of adverse events, and higher first-attempt image qualification rate were detected in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).The Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-Item(GAD-7)scores of the observation group before and after the examination were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive behavioral intervention combined with music relaxation therapy can effectively reduce the fluctuations of vital signs in patients undergoing contrast-enhanced MRI scanning, alleviate their anxiety level, and improve examination efficiency.
