Shuanghua Kunyun Formula combined with gestrinone to treat endometriosis and its influence on serum CD44 and TNF-α levels
Objective To explore the effect of Shuanghua Kunyun Formula combined with gestrinone on serum cluster of differentiation 44(CD44)and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)in patients with endometriosis.Methods A total of 90 patients with endometriosis admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to April 2023 were randomly assigned into the control group(n=45)and observation group(n=45).Patients in the control group were treated with gestrinone,and those in the observation group were treated with Shuanghua Kunyun Formula combined with gestrinone.Immune function of the two groups before and after treatment was compared.Serum CD44 and TNF-α levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Efficacy and adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,serum follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),estrogen(P)and estradiol(E2)in both groups significantly decreased,which were significantly lower in the observation group than those of control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,serum CD44 and TNF-α levels in both groups significantly decreased,which were significantly lower in the observation group than those of control group(P＜0.05).The therapeutic effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Shuanghua Kunyun Formula combined with gestrinone improves the immune function and lowers serum CD44 and TNF-α levels in patients with endometriosis,with high efficacy and safety.
