Objective To explore the application effect of prospective active nursing combined with silver ion dressing on postoperative outpatient nursing of perianal abscesses. Methods A total of 80 patients with perianal abscesses managed by specific nursing in the ostomy clinic from January 2021 to June 2023 were included. They were randomly assigned into the control group(40 cases, routine outpatient nursing)and study group(40 cases, prospective active nursing combined with silver ion dressing). The differences in wound healing, recovery of anal function(assessed by the Wexner score),incidence of complications, recurrence rate, score of the Generic Quality of Life Inventory 74(GQOLI-74)and nursing satisfaction rate between the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, scores of pain, swelling, granulation tissue growth and the Wexner scores in all dimensions were significantly reduced in both groups, which were significantly lower in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of seepage, emergence time of new epithelium and wound healing time were significantly shorter in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications and recurrence rate were significantly lower in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the GQOLI-74 scores significantly increased in both groups, which were significantly higher in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate was significantly higher in the study group than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of prospective active nursing combined with silver ion dressing is significant on postoperative outpatient nursing of perianal abscesses, which can effectively accelerate wound healing, and recovery of anal function, reduce disease recurrence and related complications, and improve quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
