Objective To observe the effect of"child life"care concept in children with bronchopneumonia. Methods Totally 128 children with bronchopneumonia treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from June 2022 to June 2023 were enrolled as study samples. The children were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to routine nursing(control group)or"child life"care+routine nursing(experimental group). The mood state, treatment adherence rate and disease control(DC)progress indicators of the two groups after intervention were compared. Results The experimental group had significantly lower anxiety and depression scores, and significantly higher treatment adherence rate than the control group. The DC progress indicators and lung function indicators in the experimental group were superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the"child life"care in children with bronchopneumonia is conducive to the calming of anxiety and depression, the enhancement of treatment compliance, the acceleration of DC progress, and the improvement of pulmonary function in these children.
