Impact of pain intervention based on team collaboration mode on postoperative pain and functional recovery in patients with hip replacement
Objective To explore the impact of pain intervention based on team collaboration mode on postoperative pain and functional recovery in patients with hip replacement(HR).Methods Eighty-eight patients underwent HR at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital from January 2022 to August 2023 were randomized 1:1 to routine intervention(control group)or pain intervention based on team collaboration mode(observation group)for 3 months. The postoperative recovery time, pain degree, sleep quality and hip function of the two groups were compared, and the treatment-emergent adverse events(TEAEs)were assessed. Results The observation group had significantly shorter first time out of first out-of-bed activity time, hospital stay, and complete weight-bearing time, and lower visual analogue scale(VAS)at postoperative different time points relative to the control group(P<0.05).At 3 months of intervention, the observation group presented significantly lower the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score and higher the Harris hip joint scores(dimensions and total scores)compared to the control group(P<0.05).The TEAEs such as postoperative deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary infection, and constipation in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pain intervention based on team collaboration mode in HR patients can shorten postoperative recovery time, reduce postoperative pain level, improve sleep quality, and promote the recovery of hip joint function, lower the incidence of complications.
