Influence of principle of co-governance with family members'participation on clinical symptom improvement in children with acute bronchitis
Objective To study the influence of principle of co-governance with family members'participation on the clinical symptom improvement and nursing satisfaction in children with acute bronchitis. Methods Eighty children with acute bronchitis visited our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were enrolled in the study. They were assigned into observation group(n=40,routine nursing combined with principle of co-governance with family members'participation)and control group(n=40,routine nursing)by a random number table. The improvement status of clinical symptoms, lung function indicators(including forced vital capacity[FVC],forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1],peak expiratory flow[PEF]),treatment compliance, nursing satisfaction and Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory 4.0(PedsQL4.0)were compared between groups. Results After intervention, the disappearance time of symptoms(wheezing, fever, lung wet rales and cough),and hospitalization time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).While,the levels of FVC,FEV1 and PEF in both groups were significantly increased after intervention, and the increases in observation group were more common relative to the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the total compliance rate in the two groups was significantly elevated, and the elevation was more pronounced in observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the nursing satisfaction of family members in observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the PedsQL4.0 scores in the two groups were significantly increased, and the observation group was superior to the control group for the PedsQL4.0 scores(P<0.05).Conclusion The principle of co-governance with family members'participation can promote the status of clinical symptoms in children with acute bronchitis, improve the lung function, and enhance the treatment compliance, nursing satisfaction, and quality of life.
