Effect of ankle pump exercise combined exercise guidance for lower limb in preventing postoperative recurrence of deep vein thrombosis
Objective To analyze the effect of ankle pump exercise combined with exercise guidance for lower limb in preventing postoperative recurrence of deep vein thrombosis(DVT),thus providing some reference for clinical. Methods This was a clinical controlled study.Totally 88 DVT patients who visited Department of General Surgery and Vascular Surgery,Jiangsu Province Hospital and underwent interventional surgery for lower limb from January 2021 to June 2022 were enrolled as subjects. The data of patients were collected, and the patients were divided into the control group(n=44)and the observation group(n=44)by random ball touching method. All patients were given systematic nursing plan, those in the observation group were additionally given ankle pump exercise combined with exercise guidance for lower limb. The hemodynamic indexes, nursing satisfaction, and recurrence rate of thrombosis within 6 months of follow-up were included as comparators. Results After the intervention, the average blood flow velocity, peak blood flow and blood flow volume of the femoral vein in both groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),which in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the control group was significantly lower than that of the observation group(86.36%vs 100.00%,P<0.05).The recurrence rate of thrombus in the control group was significantly higher than that of the observation group(15.91%vs 2.27%,P<0.05).Conclusion Ankle pump exercise combined with exercise guidance for lower limb has a preventive effect on the recurrence of DVT,it can improve hemodynamics and increase nursing satisfaction.
