Effect of early cognitive behavioral intervention on psychological stress in patients with craniocerebral injury
Objective To explore the effect of early cognitive behavioral intervention on psychological stress in patients with craniocerebral injury(CCI).Methods A total of 82 CCI patients treated in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were randomly assigned into observation group(n=41)and control group(n=41).All patients were managed by routine psychological nursing, and those in observation group were additionally given early cognitive behavioral intervention. The aim was to compare mental state,Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-Civilian Version(PCL-C),exercise capacity, activity of daily living(ADL),nurse-patient trust degree, complication. Results The scores of anxiety and depression in the two groups after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention, the decrease in the observation group was more prevalent compared with the control group(P<0.05).The PCL-C score in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(3months after discharge:24.08±7.85 points vs 28.59±7.83 points;6 months after discharge:21.34±6.29 points vs 24.42±6.32 points,P<0.05).After intervention,Fugel-Meyer Assessment(FMA)and Barthel index(BI)scores in the two groups were significantly increased, which increased notably in the observation group compared with the control group(P<0.05).The score of nurse-patient trust in the two groups after intervention was significantly higher than that before intervention, which in the observation group was more common(P<0.05).The rate of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(7.32%vs 26.83%,P<0.05).Conclusion The early cognitive behavioral intervention can effectively improve psychological stress, relieve negative emotions, and improve intervention quality in CCI patients.
