Effect of establishing one-to-one whole-course accompanying midwifery mode in relieving discomfort and psychological stress in elderly primipara
Objective To explore the effect of establishing one-to-one whole-course accompanying midwifery mode in relieving discomfort and psychological stress in elderly primipara.Methods A total of 110 elderly primipara delivered in our hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were enrolled in the study.They were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to either routine nursing mode(control group)or one-to-one whole-course accompanying midwifery mode(observation group).The recovery of parturients was counted by special persons.Results The first,second and third stages of labor and the total stages of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The discomfort degree of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After delivery,the anxiety score in the both groups was significantly lower than that before delivery(P＜0.05),and which in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group([6.64±1.74]points vs[8.75±1.65]points,P＜0.05).The cesarean section rate was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group,but the natural delivery rate was significantly higher(12.73％vs 34.55％,76.36％vs 56.36％,P＜0.05).The amount of postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group was significantly less than that of the control group([252.39±82.53]ml vs[399.52±143.67]ml,P＜0.05).The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(9.09％vs 23.64％,P＜0.05).The normal rate of neonates in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(96.36％vs 70.91％,P＜0.05).Conclusion The one-to-one whole-course accompanying midwifery mode can effectively relieve the discomfort of the elderly primipara,improve the psychological state of the parturient,shorten the labor process,increase natural delivery rate,and reduce neonatal asphyxia and postpartum hemorrhage.
