Advances in the treatment of patella fractures by the minimally invasive technique
To summarize the minimally invasive surgical treatment of patella fracture and to provide new directions and ideas.Through reviewing domestic and foreign literatures on minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of patellar fractures,this review summarized the progress,advantages and limitations of surgical methods.There are many available ways to treat patella fractures by minimally invasive means,including minimally invasive technology under steel wire fixation,headless pressurized screw,hollow nail,nickel-titanium shape-memory alloy bow tooth nail,tension band fixation,Cable-Pin system,arthroscopic assistance and other treatment methods.They have their own advantages and disadvantages.The minimally invasive technique is suitable for simple patellar fractures with large fractures.For complex and crushing patellar fractures,the traditional internal fixation method is used in clinical treatment.Patellar resection may be considered for patients with severe inferior patella comminution.
