Effects of body mass management combined with mindfulness behavior training on glucose and lipid metabolism and delivery outcome in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the effect of body mass management combined with mindfulness behavior training on glucose and lipid metabolism and delivery outcome of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods A total of 104 GDM patients admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were randomly divided into control group(n=57)and observation group(n=57).Patients in the control group received routine intervention, while those in the observation group received body mass management combined with mindfulness behavior training intervention.Glucose and lipid metabolism levels, anxiety, depression and pregnancy outcomes were compared between groups. Results After intervention, the levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour post-load glucose(2hPG),total cholesterol(TC),and triglycerides(TG)in the two groups decreased, which were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA)and the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD)scores in both groups decreased, which were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of pregnancy hypertension, puerperal infection, postpartum bleeding, preterm delivery, polyhydramnios, macrosomia and intrauterine distress in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the Apgar score of newborns was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Body mass management combined with mindfulness behavior training can improve glucose and lipid metabolism in GDM patients, and promote maternal and infant health with satisfactory results.
