Objective To analyze the application effect of health science popularization of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)on the caregivers of heart disease patients. Methods A total of 100 cases of caregivers of heart disease patients from January 2023 to June 2023 were selected by objective and convenient sampling, and they were randomly assigned into the control group and given routine nursing.Another 100 cases of caregivers of heart disease patients from July 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the intervention group and given health science popularization of CPR.The knowledge-attitude-belief-practice(KAP)and skill mastering level of CPR,care burden and satisfaction of the caregivers of the two groups were compared. Results After nursing, the KPA score of CPR in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group([82.07±11.88]points vs[66.86±10.58]points,P<0.05).In the intervention group, the score of CPR skills was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).In the intervention group, the Zarit Burden Interview(ZBI)score was significantly lower than that of the control group([35.03±5.84]points vs[45.28±8.03]points,P<0.05).In the intervention group, the satisfaction scores of popularization method, duration, training teachers and contents were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of health science popularization of CPR in caregivers of heart disease patients can achieve remarkable results, which helps to enhance their KPA of CPR,improve their mastery of CPR technology, and also alleviate the care burden of caregivers of patients with heart disease,as well as promote their satisfaction.
