Objective To explore the effects of collaborative nursing based on the Fast-Track Surgery(FTS)concept on recovery and social support in patients after inguinal hernia surgery. Methods The clinical data of 97 patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery between January 2022 and April 2023 were collected and analyzed.According to the implementation time of FTS-based collaborative nursing, they were divided into control group(45 cases, routine nursing, before implementation, between January and August 2022)and experimental group(52 cases, routine nursing+collaborative nursing based on FTS concept, after implementation, between September 2022 and April 2023).The recovery status, postoperative pain(the Visual Analogue Scale[VAS]),social support(the Social Support Rating Scale[SSRS]),incidence of abdominal distension and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative eating time, exhaust time, recovery time of bowel sound, gastrointestinal peristalsis time and hospitalization time in experimental group were all significantly shorter than those of control group(P<0.05).At 24h and 48h after surgery, the VAS scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the SSRS scores in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the abdominal distension was significantly milder(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction was significantly higher in the experimental group than that of the control group(92.31%vs 75.56%,P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of FTS-based collaborative nursing is good in patients after inguinal hernia surgery, which can accelerate recovery, increase social support level, relieve postoperative pain and abdominal distension, and improve nursing satisfaction.
