Application value of parathyroid recognition strategy in patients with end-stage renal disease
Objective To establish a mathematical model for end-stage renal disease(ESRD)patients undergoing dialysis, and to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy and feasibility of parathyroid ultrasound identification strategy. Methods A total of 43 subjects with chronic kidney disease who underwent parathyroid ultrasound from January 2021 to June 2021 were selected.A total of 112 suspected parathyroid glands were identified from the subjects.Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration cytology, eluent Tg and intact parathyroid hormone(iPTH)were used as the diagnostic gold standard to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of the parathyroid identification strategy.Subjects were divided into the experimental group(using parathyroid recognition strategy)and control group(without parathyroid recognition strategy),and the intra-group correlation coefficients were compared. Results There was a significant difference in the iPTH level between the experimental group([2 148.744±796.178]pg/mL)and control group([23.676±13.133]pg/mL)(t=22.954,P<0.01).The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, area under the curve(AUC),positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the parathyroid identification strategy were 92.857%,93.421%,91.667%,0.925,95.946%and 86.842%,respectively.The intra-group correlation coefficient of parathyroid recognition of 5 doctors was 0.814 in the experimental group, and 0.568 in the control group. Conclusion Based on this model, parathyroid ultrasound recognition strategy has a high diagnostic efficiency.Parathyroid recognition strategy can enable different ultrasound doctors to obtain accurate and consistent recognition results.
