Effect of isosorbide mononitrate combined with nicorandil in the treatment of heart failure
Objective To investigate the effect of isosorbide mononitrate combined with nicorandil in the treatment of senile heart failure. Methods A total of 94 elderly patients with heart failure treated from January 2021 to June 2022 were enrolled and divided into control group(treated with isosorbide mononitrate,n=47)and observation group(treated with isosorbide mononitrate+nicorandil,n=47)according to random number table method. The application effects were assessed. Results The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment, significantly lower left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),interventricular septal thickness(IVST),troponin Ⅰ(cTnI)and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),and higher left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were detected in both groups after treatment, which were significantly pronounced in the observation group(P<0.05).The serum nitric oxide(NO)significantly increased and serum endothelin-1(ET-1)significantly decreased after treatment in both groups, which were significantly pronounced in the observation group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Isosorbide mononitrate combined with nicorandil can improve the efficacy, diastolic function levels of heart failure markers and vascular endothelial function in elderly patients with heart failure without increasing adverse events, which has a high clinical application value.
