Analysis of goal-based high-quality early enteral nutrition intervention on severe trauma patients
Objective To observe the effect of goal-based high-quality early enteral nutrition intervention on severe trauma patients. Methods Eighty severe trauma patients treated in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2024 were recruited, and they were randomized 1:1 to receive conventional nutritional support(control group)or goal-based high-quality early enteral nutrition intervention(experimental group). The observation indexes after the intervention of the two groups were assessed. Results Compared with those of the control group, the start time of enteral nutrition in the experimental group was significantly earlier, the rates of 3-day and 7-day achieving total calories were significantly higher(P<0.05),the complications rate related enteral nutrition and the Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ)score were significantly lower(P<0.05),and the recovery rate was significantly higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Goal-based high-quality early enteral nutrition intervention for severe trauma patients is conducive to the early initiation, rapid advancement and safe implementation of enteral nutrition, and improvement of the patient's condition and promotion of the recovery rate.
