Annual Variation of Leaf Color Parameters and Pigment Mass Fraction of 10 Native Plants in Qinhuangdao Coastal Area
The leaf color parameters(L*,a*,b*),chlorophyll, carotene and xanthophyll were determined to study the annual variation of leaf color parameters and pigment mass fraction of 10 native plants in Qin-huangdao coastal area. The results showed that the L*and a*values of the most native plants had the same changing trend. The changing trends of b*value of 10 native plants were different. The chlorophyll mass frac-tion was significantly negative correlated with the leaf color parameters. The correlation of carotenoid mass fraction and leaf color parameters depended on plant species. The L* value could accurately predict the annual changes of the chlorophyll mass fraction of Robinia pseudoacacia and Grewia biloba var.parviflora.The a*value could accurately predict the annual changes of the carotene mass fraction of Robinia pseudoacacia and Vi-tex negundo var.heterophylla.The b*value could accurately predict the annual changes of the chlorophyll mass fraction of Amorpha fruticose,Lespedeza davurica and Flueggea suffruticosa, the carotene mass fraction of Amorpha fruticose,Lespedeza davurica,Flueggea suffruticosa and Grewia biloba var.parviflora, and the xan-thophyll mass fraction of Amorpha fruticosa and Lespedeza davurica.
