The application and characteristics of high-pressure synthesis techniques are studied in the produc-tion and performance optimization of typical thermoelectric materials such as skutterudite,Bi2Te3-based,SnSe-based,PbTe-based,and Mg2Si-based compounds.The future research directions of high-pressure syn-thesis techniques in the field of thermoelectric materials are prospected.
