The Coloring and Physiological index During the Regreening of Ulmus pumila'Jinye'
Taking Ulmus.pumila'Jinye'leaves of different leaf color periods and different directions growing under natural conditions as experimental materials, the leaf colors of different leaf color periods(S1,Golden;S2~S5,Yellowgreen;S6,Green)and four directions(east, south, west, and north)was compared to study the coloring and physiological index during the regreening of Ulmus pumila'Jinye'.The result showed that periods had a significant impact on the color change of U.pumila'Jinye',while directions had not.Mass fractions of chlorophyll, carotenoids, and anthocyanin glycosides were determined at the regreening stages(S1,S5,and S6)based on the changes in leaf color of U.pumila'Jinye'.The results showed that the mass fractions of chlorophyll and carotenoids had effect on the regreening of Ulmus pumila'Jinye',while anthocyanin glycosides had not,and the mass fractions of chlorophyll and carotenoids increased during the regreening of Ulmus pumila'Jinye'.The photosynthetic rate, the soluble sugar content and the pH were determined to study the physiological index of the regreening of Ulmus pumila'Jinye'.The studies showed that the photosynthetic rate was highest and the soluble sugar content is lowest during the S5.These results indicating that the regreening of Ulmus pumila'Jinye'was caused by the increased mass fractions of chlorophyll and carotenoids, and S5was the crucial period.
