Objective:To explore the effect of Huazhuo Jiedu Granules(granules for eliminating turbid and removing toxin)on in-flammation related indicators in rats with acute lung injury(ALI).Methods:Sixty rats were divided into blank group,model group,prednisone group,low-,medium-,and high-dose groups of Huazhuo Jiedu Granules.After 7 days of administration,ALI model rats were constructed.Observation of lung tissue pathology and lung injury score were used to measure lung tissue wet/dry weight ratio(W/D),lung permeability index,arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),classification count of inflammatory cells in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),lung tissue nuclear factor κ B(NF-κ B)P65,Tumor Necrosis Factor α(TNF-α),mRNA expression of inter-leukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-10(IL-10),and to detect interleukin-1 β(IL-1β)in lung tissue and macrophage inflammatory pro-tein-1a(MIP-1a).Results:Compared with the blank group,the lung tissue structure of the model group was disordered,with intersti-tial edema and inflammatory cell infiltration;At the same time,lung injury score,lung tissue W/D,lung permeability index,BALF inflammatory cell count increased(P<0.05),PaO2 decreased(P<0.05),and NF-κ B p65,TNF-α,IL-6 mRNA expression in-creased(P<0.05),IL-10 mRNA expression decreased(P<0.05),IL-1 β and MIP-1a increased(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the low-,medium-,and high-dose groups of Huazhuo Jiedu Granules showed that inflammatory cell infiltration and edema in lung tissue in varying degrees,and lung injury score,lung tissue W/D,lung permeability index,and BALF inflammatory cell count decreased(P<0.05),PaO2(P<0.05)increased,and mRNA expression of NF-κ B p65 in lung tissue reduced(P<0.05),IL-1 β and MIP-1a decreased(P<0.05);mRNA expression of IL-6 and TNF-α Medium-and high-dose groups decreased(P<0.05),while IL-10 mRNA expression increased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Huazhuo Jiedu Granules can improve the pathological damage of lung tissue in ALI model rats,and its mechanism may be related to regulating the levels of inflammatory factors in the lungs.
