The modern society driven by the logic of capitalism is a constantly accelerating society.However,nature has its inherent operating laws and limits to acceleration.It does not inherently pursue speed and efficiency,resulting in a"new alienation"between humans and nature.The"new alienation"in the modern"accelerated soci-ety"poses a dual threat to humans,both internally and externally,causing physiological imbalances,mental anxie-ty,health crises,and ecological crises,which are prominent symptoms of the modern"accelerating society"driven by the logic of capitalism.Remedying the"new alienation"between humans and nature caused by the the logic of capitalism driving the modern"accelerated society"requires following the path to modernization road of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature,which is the Chinese-style modernization.Chinese-style modernization re-places the the logic of capitalism with a human-oriented logic,characterized by and aiming for the harmonious co-existence between humans and nature.Promoting Chinese-style modernization and achieving harmonious coexis-tence between humans and nature requires respecting and adhering to the laws of nature,shaping a social develop-ment perspective that aligns with the laws of nature,rationalizing the role of capital and guiding its function,pro-moting innovation and application of ecological and humane technologies,and constructing production and lifestyle models that conforms to the laws of nature.
