The contemporary emergence of the new model of ecological civilization stems from the empow-erment of Marxist ecological civilization thought,the profound nourishment of the ecological wisdom of Chinese civilization,the century-long exploration of ecological practices by the Communist Party of China,the intrin-sic laid by the remarkable achievements of the new era,and a deep reflection on the non-green development paths of the western countries.As an important component of the new model of human civilization and a great creation of the ecological path of China-style modernization,the new form of ecological civilization is charac-terized by a distinctive Chinese identity and rich connotations.It is based on the premise of"leadership by the Communist Party of China",guided by the concept of"green and low-carbon development",centered around the value of"the environment is essential for people's livelihood",aimed at"building a beautiful China",fundamentally driven by"establishing a governance system",and directed towards"creating a community of life".The proactive initiation and successful emergence of the new form of ecological civilization not only dem-onstrate the significance of maintaining orthodoxy,continuing tradition and extensibility,innovativeness,and relevance of living systems in the dialectical unity of"before"and"after",as well as"ancient"and"mod-ern",but also reveals the transcendence and leadship significance of breaking with the Western norms and in-novating norms in the comparison between"East"and"West",and"China"and"other countries".
