Practical Approaches to Promoting Common Prosperity Through New Rural Collective Economies—An Analysis Based on Embedded Theory
Common prosperity is a fundamental principle of socialism with China characteristics,charac-terized by development, universality, and comprehensiveness.Developing new rural collective economies is an important way to promote common prosperity. From the perspective of embedded theory, the development of new rural collective economy not only adheres to the leadership of party building, but also maintains the prop-erty rights structures, such as the collective land ownership and member co-ownership,laying a foundation for promoting common prosperity. However,as capital embeds into rural societies, issues such as imbalances be-tween efficiency and equity, weakened agency of farmers, and dilution of sustainable value have gradually emerged, hindering the realization of common prosperity. The research shows that during the transition of new rural collective economies from a closed to an open model, reforms of the collective property rights system should follow the logic of"dual embedding"between collective property structure and external business cap-ital,balancing efficiency and equity to achieve development and prosperity, maintaining farmers'agency to re-alize universal prosperity, and enhancing sustainability to achieve all-round prosperity.
