Critique of the Capital Logic of Digital Labor—A Contemporary Reflection on Marx's Theory of Alienated Labor
Marx's theory of alienated labor profoundly reveals the essence of human labor being alienated and controlled under the capitalist system, which is an important component of the fundamental theory of Marx-ism.Drawing on Marx's theoretical framework,we are able to examine the current mode of production in the digital age, revealing the phenomenon of digital labor alienation and the domination of capital logic. In the dig-ital age,the development of technology and the popularization of digitization are changing our way of working and production relations. However, this change does not come without cost. The logic of capital is also more subtly permeating in digital production, exacerbating the passivity and dependence of workers through algorith-mic control and data manipulation.Examining digital labor from the perspective of Marx's alienated labor has important theoretical and practical significance for reflecting on the contemporary value of Marx's alienated la-bor thought and criticizing and reconstructing the mode of production in the digital age.
