Urban Home-Based Elderly Care Service Strategies Based on Family Media Scenarios
The dual processes of population aging and intelligent living are unfolding in urban develop-ment.Watching TV is the primary media engagement of elderly individuals at home,prompting us to consider how to create intelligent service scenarios for them.By analyzing the principles and influencing factors for con-structing elderly-friendly family media service scenarios in family interaction spaces,this study proposes a home-based elderly care service network model and content composition based on family media.It demon-strates television-centered home-based elderly care service strategies from three aspects:constructing elderly-friendly viewing and entertainment service scenarios,multi-functional life assistance service scenarios and so-cial activity servicescenarios that integrate virtual and physical elements.The aim is to optimize the information connections,relational connections and emotional connections between home-based elderly individuals,their families,and the city by linking the interactive spaces at the individual,family and urban level,therebyestab-lishing connections that promote personal development and improve their quality of life in a media-oriented liv-ing environment.
