The Evolution of the Pan Lu Conflict during the Jin and Tang Dynasties
For a long time,the study of"Panlu"has been mainly limited to the investigation of"Panlu"literature without any reference.In fact,there is not only a geographical north-south confrontation between"Panlu",but also a conceptual north-south opposition.In addition,the rift between the two is also related to the north-south confrontation.Therefore,since the entry of Lu Ji into Luoyang,the"Panlu Debate"has been launched between"Panlu".With the fall of the Western Jin Dynasty and the transition to the Southern and Northern Dynasties of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,the political power in the north and south shifted from"striving for martial arts"to"striving for cultural unity",and"Pan Lu"was regarded as their own cultural unity by the northern and southern regimes,thus opening a new round of"Pan Lu War".The'Pan Lu War'in the sense of the North South cultural system lasted for a long time,until Wen Zisheng,known as the new Lu Ji of the Northern Dynasties,was praised by Emperor Wu of Liang and declared to be over.Afterwards,under the joint guidance of the New Center and the New Lu Ji,the literature of the North and South began to interact and in-tegrate,giving rise to the new literature of the unified era of the Sui and Tang dynasties.
