From"Strength of Character"to"Indifferent Sentiment"—The Evolution of Aesthetic Consciousness during the Tang Dynasty
Aesthetic consciousness has always been one of the ultimate issues in ancient literature and art.The aesthetic consciousness of ancient China is mainly reflected in various aspects such as ancient literature,painting,and art.The Tang Dynasty,as a period of great national strength in Chinese history,presented a u-nique style in terms of breadth of mind,expansion of territory,and development of literature and art.The Tang Dynasty has a long time span in history,and aesthetic consciousness has also shown a changing process with changes in political history and other factors.From the inheritance and development of the aesthetic conscious-ness of the Sui Dynasty in the early Tang Dynasty,to the romantic voice of literati in the prosperous Tang Dy-nasty with strong national strength,and to the desolate and indifferent emotions in the late Tang Dynasty,all of these demonstrate the spiritual changes brought by the changes in the times to the literati,and also reflect the changes in ancient Chinese aesthetic consciousness.Exploring the process of aesthetic consciousness transfor-mation is one of the important ways for us to explore the development of ancient Chinese philosophy and aes-thetics.
