Effects of Planting Density on the Growth of Crocus sativus
The effects of planting density on the growth of Crocus sativus were studied.The results showed that the differences of the growth period and plant height of C.sativus under different planting densities were little.There were no obvious differences in the length of flower stems,flower diameter,leaf number and length under different planting densities.when the plant spacing was 12 cm×10 cm,the dry weights of stigma and stamen were the highest,and the dry weights of petals was higher.The suitable planting density of C.sativus was 12 cm×10 cm in production.
