Current Status of Crop Genetics and Breeding in China and Development Direction in Thirteenth Five Year Plan
The innovative development of the subject of crop genetics and breeding is of great significance to promote the healthy development of modern agriculture and the protection of the food security in our country. The authors summarized the main advances in the field of crop genetics and breeding in China in recent years,and analyzed the development direction in thirteenth five year plan from the aspects of ge-nomics,conservation and utilization of germplasm resources,new gene mining,mechanism and utilization of heterosis in crops,molecular marker breeding,plant cell engineering,mutation breeding and so on.
