Research Progress on New Professional Farmers in China Based on CiteSpace Bibliometric Analysis Method
The new type of professional farmers represents an active career choice and is the intellectual support for achieving Chinese-style modernization of agriculture and rural areas.The visual analysis of research literatures on new professional farmers in the CNKI network database from 2006 to 2022 was carried out using CiteSpace software.The results showed that:(1)The number of publications showed a development trend of initial germi-nation period(2006-2011)-explosive growth period(2012-2015)-stable development period(2016-2022),and the overall number of publications fluctuated and increased.The authors had a wide distribution,loose struc-ture,and insufficiently close cooperative relationships,presenting a dispersed state.The disciplines involved were mainly distributed in fields such as adult education and special education,agricultural economy,and vocational e-ducation.(2)The research hotspots mainly focused on the connotation,characteristics,and significance of new professional farmers,the growth and cultivation of new professional farmers,and the analysis of the quality and ability of new professional farmers.In the future,we should focus on improving the quality and capacity building of new professional farmers,as well as cultivating,transforming,and upgrading new professional farmers.
