Research Progress on the Biological Characteristics and Integrated Control of Grapholitha molesta(Lepidoptera,Tortricidae)
Grapholita molesta Busck is a global fruit tree pest that mainly damages the new shoots and fruits of fruit trees such as apple and pear,as well as stone fruit trees such as peach.Due to its small size, more gen-erations each year, and overlapping generations,it is difficult to be controlled in production.However,exces-sive chemical control can lead to resistance, resurgence and residue. It has become one of the main factors lim-iting the high-quality and green development of fruit trees. The biological characteristics and comprehensive pre-vention and control measures are summarized including agricultural and physical control, chemical control,bio-logical control, and comprehensive control in order to provide reference for the integrated control ofthis pest.
