As the representative of poems by Lin Daiyu,Song of the Burial of Flowers,is in the 27th chapter of Dream of the Red Chamber.This poem is not for the sadness of spring,and not for the sorrow of love,but for the result of the conflict between Lin Daiyu,the betrayer of feudal aristocracy,and Jia Mansion,the feudal orthodox forces.Based on Systematic Functional Linguistics and Ecological Place View,this article analyzes the Transitivity,Participants and Circumstantial elements in this poem and its translation by Yang and Hawks.In conclusion,many Agents in Ecological Place View are used,which shows the close relationship between people and places.The anal-ysis of the processes of Transitivity,esp.mental process,expresses the hostess and author's strong desire and longing for good life and favorable social environment.The poem and its translation versions have positive ecological stance and belong to eco-beneficial discourses.
