The folk story"Guaigu Bird"is collected and recorded in the southwest of Shandong Province.From the perspective of myth-archetype criticism,it reflects the replacement and deformation of grain worship belief in ancient Dongyi area in folk stories;From the regional point of view,it is a diachronic summary of ancient beliefs and production experience in wheat farming areas and a synchronic summary of unique social culture of Confucian style and rhyme;From the perspective of spreading function,it not only makes up for the deficiency of collecting folk stories in this region,but also plays the role of spreading production experience and social education in sprea-ding.Guaigu Bird is the legacy of folk stories in Shandong.
