Chinese path to modernization is a modernization that follows the path of peaceful development,and the path of peaceful development is a distinctive feature and a necessary choice of Chinese path to modernization.It is in line with China's specific national conditions and the trend of world development.China is willing and able to a-chieve modernization through peaceful development.China actively builds its circle of friends in the international community and strengthens friendly relations with its neighboring countries in the region,fully leveraging its impor-tant role in promoting peace,security,and economic development in the Asia-Pacific region.The entry into force and implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)have played an important role in promoting economic development in the China-ASEAN region.China and ASEAN have been strengthening coop-eration in economic and trade exchanges,investment cooperation,connectivity,digital economy,green and low-carbon development,and scientific and technological innovation,thus opening up broader space for China-ASEAN cooperation,injecting more new vitality,nurturing new drivers of growth,and providing solid support for regional economic integration.
