数字贸易会促进企业绿色技术创新吗?——基于跨境电商综合试验区设立的准自然实验

以跨境电商综合试验区政策为准自然实验,研究数字贸易是否诱发企业绿色技术创新.基于2009-2019 年间沪深A股上市公司企业绿色技术创新数据,运用多期双重差分模型,通过比较跨境电商综合试验区设立前后、试点地区相对于非试点地区,企业的绿色专利授权量是否提升来检验数字贸易对企业绿色技术创新的作用.研究发现,数字贸易能够诱发企业绿色技术创新.机制检验发现,数字贸易通过增加政府补助、缓解融资约束提高企业绿色技术创新.异质性分析表明,数字贸易对高新技术行业的企业、非国有企业绿色技术创新的激励作用更为显著.
Will Digital Trade Promote Green Technology Innovation for Businesses?——Quasi Natural Experiments Based on the Establishment of Comprehensive Cross-border E-commerce Pilot Zones
Based on the green technology innovation data of enterprises listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share companies during 2009-2019,using a multi-period double-difference model,the role of digital trade on enterprises'green technology innovation is examined by comparing whether enterprises'green patent authorizations are elevated before and after the establishment of comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zones,and in the pilot region relative to the non-pilot region.The study shows that digital trade can induce enterprises'green technological inno-vation,and it still holds after a series of robustness tests.The mechanism test finds that digital trade improves corporate green technology innovation by increasing government subsidies and alleviating financing constraints.Heterogeneity analysis shows that digital trade has a more significant incen-tive effect on green technology innovation of enterprises in high-tech industries and non-state-owned enterprises.
