Research on the Mitigation Effect of Urban and Rural Residents'Medical Insurance on the Relative Poverty of Rural Residents Under the Background of Common Prosperity——From the Perspective of Vulnerability
This paper takes rural residents as the research object,based on the perspective of poverty vulnerability,using the micro-survey data of CFPS in 2014,2018 and 2020,and using the propensity score matching double difference method(PSM-DID)to explore the impact of urban and rural residents'medical insurance on the relative poverty of rural residents and its mediating effect.The research shows that China's poverty allevia-tion has achieved remarkable results.The medical insurance for urban and rural residents has a significant poverty reduction effect on the relative poverty of rural residents.Improving the medical level in rural areas and improving the health status of rural residents can effectively alleviate the oc-currence of relative poverty.
