A Study on the Path of Rural Human Capital for Low-Carbon Total Factor Productivity Growth in Agriculture
Using provincial panel data from 2000-2021,constructing a multiple mediation model based on the influence mechanism, measuring agri-cultural low-carbon total factor productivity with the SBM-GML method, and introducing agricultural technological progress, agricultural produc-tivity,rural labor force transfer, and agricultural scale operation as mediating variables,we examine the effects and paths of rural human capital in in-fluencing agricultural low-carbon total factor productivity The study concludes that:rural human capital can directly influence agricultural low-carbon total factor productivity. The study concludes that rural human capital can directly promote the growth of agricultural low-carbon total factor productivity;rural human capital can indirectly promote the growth of agricultural low-carbon total factor productivity through the effects of techno-logical progress, productivity enhancement, labor force transfer and large-scale operation. To realize the revitalization of rural talents, promote the goal of"dual-carbon",and improve the low-carbon total factor productivity of agriculture,we should take the revitalization of the countryside as a hand to realize the talent-driven low-carbon development;take technological innovation as a driving force to strengthen the empowerment of low-carbon technology;take the integration of the three sectors of industry as a focus point to stimulate the potential for productivity enhancement;take the direction of non-agricultural employment to guide the labor force to transfer;and take the improvement of quality and efficiency as a key factor to enhance the productivity of agriculture. To improve quality and efficiency, expand the scale of business.
