Research on the Transmission Effect of Enterprises'Digital Transformation from the Perspective of Industrial and Supply Chain
Based on the samples of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2021,combined with the digital strategy in the company's annual report and the list of suppliers and customers,this paper constructed the digital transformation index of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial and supply chain,and empirically analyzed the transmission effect and mechanism of upstream enterprises'digital trans-formation on the downstream enterprises'digital transformation in the industrial and supply chain.The results show that the digital transformation of upstream enterprises has a significant promoting effect on the digital transformation of downstream enterprises related to the industrial and supply chain,and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.In terms of heterogeneity,the transmission effect is more obvious in the four digitalization types of big data,cloud computing,digital technology application and internet of things information system,and when the upstream en-terprises belong to technology-intensive industries,large-scale enterprises,competitive industries and when they are in the innovation policy stage,the promotion effect is more significant.Furthermore,the digital transformation of upstream enterprises can have a positive impact on the digital transformation of downstream enterprises through the industrial and supply chain connection channels and the industrial and supply chain spillover channels.
