A Comparative Study of Salbutamol Sulfate and Procaterol in the Treatment of Children with Bronchial Asthma
Objective To compare and analyze the research effect of salbutamol sulfate and procaterol in the treatment of children with bronchial asthma. Methods 90 cases of children with bronchial asthma were selected and divided into an experimental group(n=45)and a control group(n=45)according to the random number table method. The control group was given procaterol drugs treatment, and the experimental group was was given salbutamol sulfate drugs treatment. The clinical ef-ficacy,pulmonary function[forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory flow(PEF),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)],asthma symptom score, symptom disappearance time(cough disappearance time, wheezing sound disappearance time, dyspnea disappearance time)and adverse reactions occurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group 95.56%(43/45)was higher than that of the control group 77.78%(35/45)(P<0.05);Af-ter treatment, the levels of FVC,PEF and FEV1 in the experimental group were respectively higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment, the scores of asthma daytime symptoms and asthma nighttime symptoms in the experimental group were respectively lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);The cough disappearance time, wheezing disappearance time and dyspnea disappearance time in the experimental group were respectively shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the occurrence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Con-clusion Compared with the procaterol drugs treatment, salbutamol sulfate drugs treatment for children with the bronchial asthma can improve the curative effect, improve the pulmonary function and clinical symptoms. It is safe and reliable.
