Research on AIDS Cognition of College Students in Heilongjiang Province and Adjustment of Prevention and Control Policies
Objective To understand the cognition of AIDS,general characteristics of behavior as well as the identifica-tion of AIDS-related high-risk behaviors among college students in Heilongjiang province,and to provide more efficient and targeted suggestions for carrying out the AIDS prevention work in colleges and in universities.Method Students who enrolled in local universities or secondary vocational colleges were the target group,and stratified multistage cluster random sampling method was used to select the final sample.The questionnaire survey as well as qualitative interviews and focus group in-terviews were conducted among the target sample.Result There is still room for improving college students'cognition and awareness of AIDS.Theme lecture mode used widely in college AIDS education showed little effect.So it is suggested that AIDS cognitive education should be included in the credit system management and Strengthening relative education should be provided for students.Conclusions The paper explored the formation of multi-sectoral joint action of college AIDS pre-vention mechanism on the purpose of providing a reference and executable practice mode for AIDS prevention and control as well as improving the health level of students in universities and colleges in Heilongjiang Province.
