Mining and Analysis of Adverse Reactions to Supraventricular Tachycardia
Objective Based on the US Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System(FAERS)database, this study mined data on drugs causing Supraventricular tachycardia(SVT),in order to provide reference for clinical application of related drugs. Methods Adverse event reports from the FAERS database from Q1 2014 to Q3 2023 were collected using the OpenVigil website to identify drugs that could trigger SVT.Results A total of 2683 reports were obtained after screening, and 286 drugs produced positive signals. The drugs most likely to cause SVT were theophylline,Venlafaxine,Ondansetron, voriconazole, ipratropium bromide, paroxetine, salbutamol, paclitaxel and formoterol. Conclusion We should pay attention to the special population, strengthen the monitoring of cardiac function during and after medication, and take timely intervention measures to ensure the safety of medication.
