Local Legislation of Protecting World Cultural Heritage
Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage requires the State Party to take appropriate legal measures for the identification,protection,and conservation of the world heritage.Up until now,China has 38 world cultural heritages and 4 world natural and cultural heritages,each of which has particular features in the location,constitutions and buffer zones.With the introduction of the guidelines for cultural relics work in the new era and the development of the international concept of World cultural heritage protection,local regulations on World heritage protection need to combine new concepts and new requirements based on the existing legal framework,highlight local characteristics,and improve the legal system of world heritage protection.
