The Interactive Effect of Educational Equity and Educational Efficiency——An Empirical Test Based on Panel Data of Secondary Vocational Schools in Anhui Province
Based on the GMM estimation method,taking secondary vocational education in 16 cities in Anhui Province from 2009 to 2021 as the research object,the study uses a dynamic simultaneous equation model to estimate the interactive effect between educational equity and educational efficiency.The findings go as the following:the overall level of educational equity is relatively higher in secondary vocational schools with no significant regional difference and significant negative cumulative effect;the overall level of educational efficiency is low with significant regional difference;the education scale has experienced the development process from decreasing returns to increasing returns;educational equity has a one-way influence on educational efficiency,and education level of residents is a critical factor in educational equity and educational efficiency.To realize the positive interaction between educational equity and educational efficiency,we should implement the new development concept of"six must-adhere-tos",ensure that secondary vocational education operates efficiently and has fair opportunities,ensure the fairness of the process and the result,and realize the positive interaction between educational equity and educational efficiency.
