The belief in the god of loyalty and righteousness is an important part of Huizhou's folk beliefs.As a kind of spirit worship with Confucian values,the formation and development of the belief have gone through a long and long process——From real people to the gods of loyalty and righteousness,from small-scale folk sacrifices to the belief activities of the whole of Huizhou,which means that the belief in the gods of loyalty and righteousness has undergone a quantitative to qualitative transformation.These changes cannot be separated from the two-way promotion of the people and the government.In Huizhou,the practice of the belief in the god of loyalty and righteousness constitutes its unique folk belief picture.
