Casting the sense of community of the Chinese nation is the epoch discourse of Marxist historical materialism in the theory and policy of ethnic work in the new era,and the innovative result of carrying out the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The historical materialism implication of the Chinese nation community consciousness is embodied in the two dimensions regarding individual and community,history and reality.In the dimension of individual and community,the philosophical standpoint of the Chinese nation community consciousness is demonstrated through the two transformations from civil society to human society and from the illusory community to the real community;in the dimension of history and reality,the standpoint logic of the Chinese nation community consciousness is explained by analyzing the historical context and the existing realistic direction.The analysis and interpretation under the perspective of Marxist historical materialism will provide a more powerful theoretical support for the solid foundation of the Chinese nation community consciousness.
