摘要
翻译中国文学经典《儒林外史》过程中,该作品文化负载词的翻译策略与方法有独特之处.不同译本对文化负载词的处理方式的差异,体现了翻译过程中的难点,这些难点包括如何准确传达文化负载词的历史背景、文化内涵,以及情感色彩等,这些都是翻译工作中不可或缺的重要环节.可以采取相应的翻译策略和方法,包括直译加注、意译、音译等,旨在更全面地传达原著的文化精髓.这些具体的翻译实践,为类似典籍的翻译工作提供参考和借鉴.
Abstract
In the process of translating the Chinese literary classic Confucian Scholars,the strategies and methods of translating culture-loaded words in this work have their unique features.The differences in the treatment of culture-loaded words in different translations reflect the difficulties in the translation process,including how to accurately convey the historical background,cultural connotation,and emotional color of culture-loaded words,which are indispensable and important links in translation work.In order to convey the essence of the original culture in a more comprehensive way,corresponding translation strategies and methods can be adopted,including literal translation,free translation,transliteration,etc.These concrete translation practices can provide reference for the translation of similar classics.
